2100 At International Campus Ministry Conference in Chicago |

The
2010 International Campus Ministry Conference for the International
Churches of Christ opened with 2100 students and ministers from the US,
Canada and others from around the world at the massive McCormick
Convention Center in Chicago. Over 4500 met on Sunday as the Chicago
Church of Christ joined the ICMC for worship and over $22,000 was given
to Chance for Africa. HOPE worldwide
organized the largest student volunteer event ever in the history of
the city of Chicago in the Lots of Love project in Englewood!

ICMC and Chicago Church Donate to Help African Children Stay in School |

On Sunday, August 1, the Chicago Church of Christ joined the campus disciples at the international Campus MInistry Conference (ICMC)
for a combined church service of over 4500. In a fantastic display of
generosity and love, $22,000 was donated to Chance for Africa.

Not quite a year ago, the Silipo family moved to Milan, Italy. It has been so encouraging to see God work in the church here. The disciples are some of most hospitable that we have ever seen. Italians are known throughout the world for food, family, fashion and fun! The church is no exception to this. We are now composed of 57 disciples, and we average between 85 to 95 in attendance every Sunday.

Hello everyone my name is Jerry Kline. I am a brother from the Greater Pittsburgh Church of Christ.
Recently
God has put something on my heart-to start a Christian gaming guild for
those of us who play video games online and are disciples. There are
plenty of Christian gaming sites, but not specifically for disciples. I
feel that there is a need here in the ICOC for such a thing, and I feel as if God has been calling me to help fill that gap as best as I can.

This year, Seattle campus ministries have seen miracles that remind us how God is always faithful.
Some of the best news comes from a Bible Talk that was started last year at a small school, Seattle Pacific University. They began this year with only three disciples on that campus. The group was faithful and persevered and there were four baptisms and a restoration on that campus with two more counting the cost! They will start the fall with 10 disciples there. Fabricio Turcios (a disciple from Houston) and Alli Winji have led that BT in a faithful and inspiring way.
